Summer Reading Club

Summer Reading Club begins Saturday, June 2.
This year's theme is Libraries Rock. Soon, you will be able to sign up for SRC, record your reading, and win great prizes.
Throughout the summer, Grove City Library and Westland Area Library will have all sorts of fun activities, programs, and entertainers for children and adults.
Stay tuned for the details. We'll see you at the library.

Igloo Letterpress Workshop

Just for Teens and Tweens at Grove City Library at 2 p.m. Friday, June 8.

Use a tabletop printing press to make a special Ohio heart print and then learn to stitch a mini-journal!

Class size is limited to just 20 teens.

Fairy Gardens

Children in grades 6-12 are invited to Westland Area Library to make Fairy Gardens/Miniature Gardens at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16.

Master Gardener Volunteers will guide teens in creating a fairy/miniature garden with live plants and accessories.

Space is limited to 25 participants. Please call 614-878-1301 ext. 602 to reserve your spot.

Music Crafting

Come and “Craft” unique music instruments and experience music with your senses at Grove City Library! All ages.

Music Crafting will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the following Saturdays:

June 9 – World Music: Unique music for different cultures

June 23 – Junk Music: Music can be created even from junk

July 7 – Music Sounds: The science of sound and emotion

July 21 – Musical Art: Make art out of LP Records and CD’s
