December  - My Wish List by Gregoire DelacourtJocelyne is beginning to wonder what happened to all those dreams she had when she was seventeen.  Then she wins the lottery and suddenly finds the world at her fingertips. But she chooses not to tell anyone, not even her husband-not just yet. Without cashing the check, she begins to make a list of all the things she could do with the money. But does Jocelyne really want her life to change?  January - Whistling Past the Graveyard by Susan CrandallA runaway, Starla, accepts a ride from a black woman traveling the back roads of Tennessee with a white baby. As the two unlikely companions make their journey, Starla’s eyes are opened to the harsh realities of 1963 southern segregation. Through talks with Eula, her parents, and a series of surprising misadventures, Starla learns about life and family. February 12, 2015 – The Divorce PapersSophie Diehl is happy as a criminal law associate and appreciates that most of her clients are behind bars. Then comes Mia Meiklejohn Durkheim who’s been served divorce papers in a humiliating scene.  She’s locked and loaded to fight her husband for custody. Sophie warns Mia that she’s never handled a divorce case before, but Mia can’t be put off.  It’s the first divorce for both of them.  March 12, 2015 – Gray Mountain by John GrishamSamantha Kofer’s career at a huge Wall Street law firm is on the fast track in 2008—then the recession hits and she gets downsized. Samantha is offered an opportunity to work at a legal aid clinic for one year without pay.  The new job takes Samantha into the murky and dangerous world of coal mining, where laws are often broken and rules are ignored.  Within weeks Samantha finds herself engulfed in litigation that turns deadly.

Spread the Warmth Mitten Drive
