Max makes friends, finds foes

The K-9 Unit of the Grove City Police Division visited the Grove City Library recently and will return on Tuesday, April 4, at 4:30 p.m.

Friends of the Library Special Event

The Friends of Southwest Public Libraries will hold its first special event of the 2017 season from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at Grove City Library.

Local author Janet Shailer will read her children's book "Turtle Rescue at Waterlemon Cay" while artist Gina Perry, who illustrated the book, will lead an art project with a turtle theme. Additionally, marine biologist Megan Seese will talk about her work with baby sea turtles and show slides.

Every child who attends will receive a free copy of the book. No reservations are necessary.

Causes of World War I

Grove City Library will host "Causes of World War I" at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16.

World War I toppled empires, redrew world maps and shaped the course of history.  But what brought about this cataclysmic conflict? The events leading up to the outbreak of The Great War are varied and complex.
