It's what you've been waiting for—the Friends annual Buy-the-Bag used book sale is here again! This year's sale will be:
Thursday, Sep 21 @ Grove City Library | 12–7 p.m.
Purchase a bag and fill it for just $10! The sale will include books and AV material for all ages. Material for children will be included; however, please be aware, these titles usually go quickly.
Big Book Sale FAQs
Do we bring our own bag or is the bag included?
A new resuable tote bag is included in the $10. The sale works by purchasing a bag for $10 and then filling it with whatever you wish from the sale.
What materials are included in the sale?
Books, music, AV, and more. There are titles for kids, juvenile and teen chapter books, adult fiction and nonfiction books, mystery, sci-fi, and more. The sale is heavy on titles for adults.
Do you have kids books? Why aren't there more kids books? Why are the books for kids gone?
Children's books are included in the sale, but supply is limited and usually goes quickly. The Friends Book Sale primarily relies on donated materials and materials withdrawn from the library's collection. The Friends receive fewer donations of materials for children than they do for adults, and the library also withdraws fewer children's titles than adult titles due to the continued popularity of children's titles. Titles that are checked out regularly stay in the collection to allow all to enjoy.
Will there be a sale at Westland?
This year, the sale will be held at Grove City Library only due to unexpected logistics. Stay tuned for future sales at Westland.
