If a library material is lost, damaged or stolen, the responsibility lies with the patron owning the library card on which it was borrowed. A cardholder who has been deemed a repeat offender of damaged items could incur a suspension of library privileges. For an item that is no longer in circulating condition, the entire cost of the item will be charged to the account. In the case of an item having parts that are able to be replaced (i.e. audio books that are available for purchase as single disc replacements), a smaller fee will be assigned - $10 per disc on replacement of an audio book. Acceptable forms of payment for library materials are cash, check, credit or debit card or money orders.
